A dedicated yoga practitioner for well over a decade, Claire is truly passionate about sharing yoga lifestyle and teaching the value of true rest.

Claire leads a number of weekly classes here at the centre including gentle yoga, dynamic flow yoga, restful restorative yoga, meditation and mens yoga. She is available for private 1:1 and small group sessions.  She also runs her popular ‘Relax & De-Stress’ Sunday sessions here twice a month. 

Suffering a major burnout in her late twenties led her to leave a stress filled accounting career to travel to India and deepen her yoga knowledge. It had been her dedication to yoga that had enabled her to recover by reducing anxiety, bringing balance back to her life and learning how to live with ease. She fell in love with teaching and knew she had found her path!

Claire is co-founder of both Essential Wellness Centre and Prana Yoga Retreats.  She also runs retreats in Ireland, Poland and Spain and provides corporate wellbeing sessions for local businesses. She has travels often for trainings and has studied with internationally recognised yoga teachers such as Judith Hanson Lassater and Uma Dinsmore Tuli. 

Claire’s students love her calm and reassuring teaching style, offering a soft approach which enables both beginners and experienced students to feel comfortable in her classes.
